All cosmetic consultations at Portrait Dental will begin with a personalized smile analysis. Your personal concerns as well as your own unique facial architecture will be taken into consideration when determining what treatment would be best suited for you. A good smile analysis will include both subjective and objective criteria. Subjective criteria are based on the patient’s perception of their own smile. Objective criteria will include measurements, proportions and occlusal concerns (bite).

However, prior to any smile analysis, a thorough exam, including appropriate x-rays should be completed to identify or rule out any tooth decay and/or infection.
