Your First Visit
Please arrive about 10 minutes early so that you have enough time to fill out a New Patient form. You can also download and fill out the form in advance.
Initial Examination
Your dentist will start by going over your medical and dental history, followed by completing a dental exam. This exam will include a detailed look at your teeth, gums, bite, and jaw, along with an oral cancer screening and any necessary X-rays.
Treatment Plan
After reviewing your history and completing the exam, your dentist will create a personalized treatment plan based on your needs. They'll also take the time to answer questions you may have about your oral health and discuss any available treatment options with you.

At Portrait Dental, we’re here to guide you through our payment and insurance options, making it easier for you to focus on reaching your dental health goals.
Insurance Claims
We offer direct billing to your insurance provider, and our friendly administrative team is always here to help you better understand your coverage and benefits.
Payment Methods
The full treatment cost (or the patient portion if direct-billing to your insurance) must be paid at the time of your appointment. We accept payment by cash, cheque, debit or most major credit cards.
